There might not be a single e-bike company that delivers the bang-for-your-buck value that Lectric does, and now they are entering the world of full sized fat tire electric bikes.

The newly announced Lectric XPeak is sure to make a splash and turn heads with an ultra-low $1299 MSRP that’s well-below what most similar bikes are going for these days.

Let’s start with the highlights: There is $400 of value in the RST Renegade fork alone. It’s a notable name, but it also helped this fat tire e-bike earn eMTB-levels of durability testing: a first amongst fat tire e-bikes priced under $2000.

The 26″X4″ Chaoyang fat tires will help you conquer whatever off-road terrain you care to try them on, while they roll better than expected on the road as the XPeaks’ surprisingly quiet motor help push you along.

Speaking of, the motor is a 750W (1310W peak) rear hub powerhouse that dishes out 85Nm of torque. Lectric has dialed in their motor tech thanks to their PWR system that allows for more natural acceleration and efficiency via the emphasis it places on wattage at each PAS level.

Lectric sent us a prototype model in advance to start testing; so far the early returns are highly impressive as the XPeak sets off to become the new affordable fat tire king.
