While attending the (e)revolution electric bike show in Denver Colorado, I got to connect with Electric Bike Outfitters and learn more about their new brand caled NIK E-Bikes, which pays homage to the historical figure Nikola Tesla, who is known for inventing radio, induction motors, remote controls, and alternating current. The company will launch two models in 2023 including the Nikel, a highly configurable high-step. This ebike can be setup with a 350 watt or 500 watt rear hub motor, or mid-drive. It can be operated as Class 1, 2, or 3, using pedal assist or throttle. They’re selling it in two colors and three sizes through dealers and their headquarters in Denver, Colorado.
